This is Jerrell, former student turned volunteer and mentor. Jerrell just left work. He has not had a chance to go home and change clothes. However, he wanted to be a part of the #HRAP5, Meet, Greet & GROW. When asked to talk about the Human Resources Achievement Program he didn’t hesitate to share. Take a listen and #ComeGROWwithUs.
Meet Jerome Wooten-Dockery, a student at our Anacostia Class 2015-2016. Jerome began the HRAP Program on September 1, 2015. He attends classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. As the instructor I arrive to class about 30 minutes before the start of class. Jerome usually arrives 5 or 10 minutes after me. On this particular day, I decided to ask Jerome about what he has learned in his first 90 days. I wanted to see how much he could recall from the top of his head what he has been learning. However, I wanted him to tell me without notes and without preparation. So, as usual Jerome arrives early. After salutations and even before he could take off is jacket, I asked him to tell me about his first 90 days and what he has learned. Well! to my surprise, Jerome ran down mostly everything we have learned in class. Listen to what Jerome has to say. It will blow you away! 90 Days! WOW!
